Tim Brooks is a 33 year old Commercial Pilot and Louisville resident for over 3 years. Tim earned his Private Pilot’s rating in 2021 in Anderson, Indiana, following his grandfather’s and uncle’s entrance into flying in the 1980s! Although Tim was content to remain as a hobby pilot at first, it didn’t take long for him to develop and ignite an interest in furthering his interests and career! Tim graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 2022 with a degree in psychology, and maintained his employment as a Probation Officer in downtown Louisville. He values honesty and integrity above all else. Tim was able to enjoy the privilege of watching dozens of air carriers on takeoff and landing sequence out his office window, largely gaining inspiration by daydreaming! He has worked with a variety of instructors within Louisville Aviation, and is looking forward to instructing the next generation of pilots!

Jake Pratt has been flying with his father since he could walk, and has been in love with aviation ever since. Jake is currently an Airframe and Powerplant aircraft mechanic, charter jet pilot, and flight school owner, but he is always looking for more ways to become involved in the industry! Jake is currently learning how to fly helicopters and is finishing his certified flight instructor ratings. Jake believes every day is a fresh opportunity to learn, improve one’s skills, and make new friends, and that’s part of what makes aviation so amazing! He knows a lot of people in his position are set on flying in the big leagues, but he tries to keep his options open and figure out what the future holds when he gets there. Whether Jake ends up on the mechanical, flying, or management side of professional aviation, he doesn’t mind at all; Just being here is a blessing, and it’s the love of the game that keeps him coming back.

Ibrahim was born and raised in Louisville, Kenticky. He is a first generation pilot from a Bosnian family. Ibrahim found his love for flying while working at UPS to help pay for his bachelor’s degree from University of Louisville. He took a discovery flight with Louisville Aviation in 2021 and has since completed all of his rating with Louisville Aviation. Ibrahim enjoys teaching others and sharing his passion for aviation with his students!

Eli Bergquist started his flight career in early 2023. His main goal is and has been to travel the world to try different foods from all different cultures! Eli loves flying and the people he gets to meet through his wonderful job. He is also in the 123rd Air National Guard as a part-time C-130J mechanic.

Matt Bernard is a Certified Flight Instructor (Instrument)/Multi Engine Instructor who simply loves to fly. He started his journey at Louisville Aviation where he earned his Private Pilot Certificate, and then went on to ATP Flight School to finish the rest of his ratings and graduate from their fast-paced program. Matt enjoys teaching, being in the cockpit, and helping new pilots grow in confidence! Matt’s dream is to one day fly for UPS or Delta Air Lines, and turn his passion for aviation into a long-term career.
